He has spent over 30 years in the automotive industry and has worked as an Efficiency consultant on hundreds of projects in more than 20 countries. As Darren worked to understand performance metrics since the mid-90\u2019s, he found that the real secret to increasing workshop efficiency and resource utilization came not of the indicators themselves, but in the interpretation of these indicators combined with the actions taken to improve them.<\/p>\n

Over time, Darren established client relationships and traveled around the world providing repair efficiency consulting and training to their dealerships and importers. Eventually he transferred his skills with KPI tracking and profitability maximization to the restaurant industry, and Darren and his wife, Nancy, opened Nonna’s Kitchen in Spearfish, SD. Nonna’s quickly surpassed a 20% profit margin, a level rarely seen in the industry. With Nancy upholding the correct systems and processes and Darren tracking KPI’s, Nonna’s continues to thrive.<\/p>\n

Darren established a Restaurant KPI Dashboard to help other restaurant owners achieve the same success Nonna’s has seen.
